I've fallen down the metrics rabbit hole, and man I love data. I love statistics.
Homelab
My metrics stack currently uses Grafana for dashboards, Victoria Metrics as my Prometheus compatible TSDB, Alloy to collect telemetry, and Loki to aggregate logs. Dashboards are an Achilles heel for me as a chronic futzer. I am forever tempted to tweak and modify things to make them just right, but there is no such thing. I've also been slowly building up my Ansible library for my homelab. Deploying and maintaining configurations across multiple machines is much easier that way. I plan on doing a more in depth write up of what I've been wrapped up in, so keep an eye out or that.
